Being Human Cast

The year 2037: the world is in turmoil, the last remnants of humanity forced into hiding. In an underground bunker, the leader of the resistance listens grimly as she learns that New York has fallen – the Earth now belongs to the vampires…

The present – several months have passed at Honolulu Heights: George’s life has been turned upside down, his joy at becoming a father overturned by Nina’s brutal murder by a gang of vampires; suffering from shock, George has armed himself with a stake and locked himself in the attic, refusing to let his unnamed daughter out of his sight. Annie struggles to cope with her friend’s breakdown, whilst dealing with the loss of her lover, Mitchell, and her best friend Nina. Tom tries to make ends meet by working in a café, still killing vampires whenever he finds them. Elsewhere, in the waterfront premises of ‘Stoker Import and Exports’, the new head-vampire, Griffin, enjoys his leadership: after killing his predecessor, Wyhdham, Griffin is now planning a global takeover. Part of his scheme for the destruction of all mankind involves stealing George’s baby – according to the clan’s ‘Vampire Recorder’ the child’s future is linked to the prophecy detailed in an ancient scroll, which foretells the death of all vampires; however, dissent comes from a new arrival, a vampire named Cutler who sees his superior’s plans as out of date and the prophecy as superstitious nonsense. Some time later, Tom arrives at the house with news of Griffin; blinded by an opportunity for revenge, George ignores Annie’s protestations at leaving his daughter on the eve of the full moon and sets off with Tom to the docks – and walks straight into a trap set by Cutler. Locked inside a storeroom as they transform into werewolves, the two men are powerless to stop Cutler going after Annie and the baby…

Meanwhile, at Southend-on-Sea, another group of supernatural housemates are about to have their lives changed – and not necessarily for the better...
